# Background Office Ambiance

> Add subtle office sounds to make calls sound more natural.

Background office ambiance adds a faint layer of office sounds — keyboard typing, distant conversation, ambient noise — to your AI calls. This makes the call environment feel more human and less like an automated system.

## Enabling Ambiance

In the campaign Options step, toggle **Background Office Ambiance** on. There's nothing to configure beyond the toggle — the ambient layer is mixed in at a fixed level designed to be subliminal rather than noticeable.

## When to Use It

Ambiance is most effective when:

* Your target audience is accustomed to speaking with business professionals in office settings
* You want to reduce the "robotic" perception of AI calling
* Your voice selection is realistic and conversational

It is less useful for campaigns targeting consumers at home or in informal settings, where office sounds may seem out of place.
