# Transcripts & Summaries

> Review what was said on every call.

Every call handled by your AI Receptionist is automatically transcribed and summarised. The inbox gives you a searchable record of all inbound activity.

## The Inbox

The AI Receptionist inbox lists every call in reverse chronological order. Each row shows:

* Caller's phone number (and name if captured)
* Date and time of the call
* Call duration
* Lead warmth classification
* Read / unread status

## Opening a Call Record

Click any row to open the call detail panel:

### AI Summary

A concise paragraph summarising the call — who called, what they wanted, and what the outcome was. Useful for quickly scanning calls without reading the full transcript.

### Recording

A playable audio recording of the call. Click the play button to listen.

### Lead Warmth

The AI's assessment of the caller's purchase intent (Hot, Warm, Cold, Dead, or Unknown). See [Lead Warmth Sorting](/docs/ai-receptionist/managing-your-inbox/lead-warmth-sorting) for details.

## Read / Unread State

Calls are marked unread until you open them. The unread count appears on the Receptionist sidebar item so you always know when new calls have come in.

## Search

Use the search bar above the inbox to filter calls. Search runs across the **caller phone number**, the **AI summary**, and the **transcript text** (both `who` and `what` fields). Typing is debounced — results update about a quarter-second after you stop typing — so the inbox stays responsive while you refine the query. Search combines with the active view mode (All / Priority / Unread).

## View Modes

Toggle between three inbox views:

* **All** — every call in chronological order
* **Priority** — only Hot and Warm leads, sorted by lead warmth score
* **Unread** — only calls you have not yet opened

## Bulk Selection & Delete

Each call has a checkbox on the left. Use the **Select all** checkbox at the top to select every visible call, or check individual rows to build a custom selection. The header shows how many are currently selected, and a **Delete** button appears once at least one row is checked.

Bulk delete is permanent — deleted calls and their transcripts/recordings are removed from your inbox. Use this to clean up spam or robocalls in batches.
