# Revenue Recovery Overview

> Automatically call customers the moment they cancel a subscription and win them back with a discount, applied directly in your billing provider.

Revenue Recovery connects your existing billing provider — Stripe, RevenueCat, or both — to AI Calling. From then on, whenever one of your customers cancels a subscription, Atllas calls them within about a minute to understand why — and, if you've set up a win-back offer, to try to save the subscription on the spot. If the customer accepts, the discount is applied directly to their subscription in your own billing account.

<Note>
  Revenue Recovery works with a billing account you already administer. It
  doesn't create a new Stripe or RevenueCat account for you — it connects to the
  one you use today.
</Note>

## How It Works

1. You connect your billing provider from the Integrations page — connecting is all that page does; everything you configure afterwards lives on the Revenue Recovery **Workflows** page. See [Connecting Stripe](/docs/revenue-recovery/setup/connecting-stripe) or [Connecting RevenueCat](/docs/revenue-recovery/setup/connecting-revenuecat)
2. Atllas creates a **cancellation** recovery workflow for you, using your existing call settings (script tone, voice, and so on), and points you at **Workflows** to review it. See [Creating a Workflow](/docs/revenue-recovery/workflows/creating-a-workflow)
3. When a customer cancels their subscription (and their access hasn't ended yet), Atllas calls them within about a minute
4. If they accept your [win-back offer](/docs/revenue-recovery/workflows/win-back-offers), Atllas un-cancels the subscription and applies the discount — visible in your billing dashboard right away
5. If they decline, or don't pick up, the cancellation proceeds as normal and nothing changes in your billing account
6. Every call, and the revenue it recovers, is tracked in [Analytics](/docs/revenue-recovery/analytics/overview)

## Requirements

* A Stripe account you administer with subscription billing already set up, or a RevenueCat account for App Store / Play Store subscriptions
* Customers need a **phone number on file** with your billing provider — customers without one aren't called. See [Phone Numbers](/docs/revenue-recovery/setup/phone-numbers)
* Only **voluntary cancellations** trigger a call. Subscriptions that lapse because a payment failed are not included, since a call can't fix a billing problem
* At most **one call per cancellation**

<Note>
  Customers whose subscription cancels immediately (rather than at the end of
  the billing period), or whose trial lapses straight into cancellation, are
  called too — see [Resubscribe
  Links](/docs/revenue-recovery/the-call/resubscribe-links), which works a
  little differently since there's no active subscription left to simply
  un-cancel.
</Note>

## Pricing

Every recovery call counts as a normal AI Calling call and uses one calling credit, the same as any other campaign call. On top of that, Atllas takes a **recovery fee** on revenue it recovers for you — 20% of what's recovered, set by your Atllas plan and shown on your connected provider card on the Integrations page.

## Where Everything Lives

Revenue Recovery has its own section in the portal sidebar with four pages:

* **Recovery Analytics** — the report: revenue recovered, the recovery funnel, why members leave, and the proof behind each save. See [Analytics](/docs/revenue-recovery/analytics/overview)
* **Workflows** — one recovery workflow per connected provider, each showing its win-back offer, its triggers, its live status, and its results at a glance. See [Creating a Workflow](/docs/revenue-recovery/workflows/creating-a-workflow)
* **Activity** — the log of every member enrolled in a recovery workflow, newest first. See [Activity Log](/docs/revenue-recovery/analytics/activity-log)
* **Inbound Settings** — your recovery callback number and how it's answered. See [Inbound Settings](/docs/revenue-recovery/the-call/inbound-settings)
