# Calling Back

> When a customer calls your recovery number back, an Atllas AI receptionist answers and texts them their offer.

<Note>
  This is rolling out to select accounts and is turned on for you by the Atllas
  team — there's no self-serve setup yet. Everything else in Revenue Recovery
  works exactly as described in these docs whether or not it's enabled for you.
</Note>

When it's enabled, the callback number on your [voicemails](/docs/revenue-recovery/the-call/voicemail) and [offer texts](/docs/revenue-recovery/the-call/offer-texts) is answered by an Atllas AI receptionist rather than ringing straight through. If a customer who was in a win-back workflow calls it back:

* The receptionist recognizes them by the number they're calling from and confirms who they're speaking with. If that customer has a win-back offer waiting, it **texts them their personal offer link right there on the call** — the same secure link they'd get after a recovery call — and says the discount out loud so they know what's on the way.
* If it can't match the caller to an offer — they're calling from a different number, their caller ID is withheld, or they were never in a workflow — it says it couldn't find their details and offers to schedule a quick call with your team instead.

Where it's set up, the offer text comes **from your recovery number**, so it arrives from the same number the customer just dialed; otherwise it's sent from an Atllas messaging number. Only the person calling about their own account is texted, at most one offer link per call, and STOP opt-outs are honored automatically — exactly like every other offer text.
