# Roles & Permissions

> What owners and members can do on a team.

Teams have two roles: **Owner** and **Member**.

## Owner Identification

The team owner is identified with a **Crown** badge next to their name in the member list.

## Transferring Ownership

Ownership transfer is currently handled by Atllas support. Contact support if you need to transfer ownership to another team member (e.g. when the original owner leaves the company).

## Single Owner

Each team has exactly one owner. There is no co-owner or admin role — only the owner has management permissions. If you need multiple administrators, contact support to discuss enterprise options.
