How credits are used

AI Calling deducts one credit per call attempt that reaches the network: answered, voicemail, or ringing with no answer. AI Calling reserves the credit when it dispatches the call. hyzl refunds a call that never gets through automatically. Those are the statuses Failed, Cancelled, and DNC (filtered out by Do Not Call list).

Contacts vs. call attempts

hyzl deducts a credit per call attempt, not per contact. A single contact can therefore use more than one credit. If a contact has fallback numbers (phone2, phone3, …), hyzl dials each number in turn until one connects. Every attempt that connects costs a credit. hyzl refunds attempts that do not connect, as usual. This means a campaign’s credit cost can be higher than its contact count. When you reach the Send step, the portal shows the maximum number of calls the campaign could use. That maximum is contacts × multi-number dialing. If your remaining balance cannot cover it, the portal warns you before launch.

View your balance

Your account balance and usage breakdown live under your Account page. Click the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar to open Settings, then choose Billing.

Monthly allotment

Your subscription plan includes a set number of credits per month. The allotment resets on your billing cycle date. Unused credits do not carry over.

Buy more credits

To buy more credits, click the Buy Credits button at the bottom of the sidebar and choose a credit package. hyzl adds the credits immediately, and they do not expire within the current billing period.

Auto top-off during retries

Campaigns with Missed Call Retry turned on can automatically purchase credits when your balance runs out mid-retry. A retry schedule then never stalls on an empty balance. In the campaign’s Missed Call Retry panel, turn on auto top-off and set a spend cap. The cap is the most hyzl may spend on automatic purchases for that campaign. Auto top-off requires a payment method on file.

Team credit allotments

If you are a team owner, you can allocate credits to individual team members. Each member draws from their allotment independently. See Teams → Campaign Management for details.
