- All receptionists shows your account-wide settings, shared across every receptionist: payment method, credits, subscription & billing, and the cold-call meeting link.
- Choosing a receptionist shows that receptionist’s own settings: name, greeting, voice, language, call handling, phone number, and auto top-off.
The greeting, voice, language, call handling, name and phone number are per
receptionist. If you run multiple
receptionists, choose the
receptionist in the dropdown to configure that one. You can also open it from
the receptionist list. All receptionists holds the settings shared across
all of them.
Name
A receptionist can carry an optional name (for example, “Front Desk” or “Chicago Office”). The name appears next to its number throughout the dashboard. It appears in the receptionist list, the scope dropdown, and per-voicemail labels. Without a name, the dashboard shows the phone number instead. There is no self-serve field for it yet. Contact support from the in-app chat to set or change a receptionist’s name.Greeting
Update the greeting message your receptionist uses to open every call. See Greeting & Voice for guidance on writing an effective greeting.Voice
Change the voice your receptionist uses by choosing from the available voices. Each entry has a Preview button, so you can hear a sample before you choose. Switching voices takes effect on the next call. Voice selection is the only voice control on AI Receptionist. There are no Speech Rate, Stability, or Similarity Boost adjustments. If a voice does not suit your business, swap to a different one rather than tuning the current one.Language
Choose the language your receptionist speaks. The selection drives both the speech-to-text transcriber and the system prompt the AI follows on each call. Supported languages include English, Spanish, and a Multilingual mode. Multilingual mode lets the AI handle calls in multiple languages dynamically. It is useful when callers may speak any of several languages. More language options include:- Arabic

- Chinese (Mandarin)

Industry
Set your industry so the AI has contextual awareness about your business type. The industry choice directly changes the system prompt sent to the AI. For example, the AI calls an Insurance agent a “professional” and a Real Estate agent an “agent.” Available industries:- Residential Real Estate
