Background office ambiance adds a faint layer of office sounds to your AI calls. The contact hears keyboard typing, distant conversation, and ambient noise. This makes the call environment feel more human and less like an automated system.

Turn ambiance on or off

Background office ambiance is on by default for new campaigns. Turn off Background Sound in campaign options when you want a clean line. AtllasX mixes the ambient layer at a fixed, subtle level. There are no more sound controls for this option.

When to use it

Ambiance is most effective when:
  • Your target audience is accustomed to speaking with business professionals in office settings
  • You want to reduce the “robotic” perception of AI calling
  • Your voice selection is realistic and conversational
It is less useful for campaigns targeting consumers at home or in informal settings. Office sounds may seem out of place there.
